The AM/FM switch felt stuck down and spongy - on AM. Maybe FM wasn’t used much at all on this radio, and dust had worked its way into the switch over the years. The great news is that a tiny bit of CRC 2-26 loosened it up quite well. That stuff really worked wonders on this gummed-up switch. Listen to that new click! ✅

If you’re doing this yourself, unplug the radio before working inside it and remember that capacitors can retain charge. CRC 2-26 is flammable, so follow the product instructions and let the solvent evaporate before powering the radio up again.
