As you can see from the video above, this modchip installation is for an early Sega Saturn Model 1 with the VA0-style 20-pin CD-board arrangement. This should not be treated as a universal Saturn modchip guide. Later Saturn revisions use different CD boards, ribbon cables and modchip arrangements, so identify the hardware inside the console before following an installation intended for another revision.

In unrelated website-housekeeping news, I’ve also removed the drop-down menus from the navigation bar. Drop-down menus are too easy to mouse away from and lose.

The old Modifications section has also become Mods & Guides, since I want it to contain proper walkthroughs like this one rather than just a loose collection of modifications.
