I ended up mounting the SCSI2SD in my recently sold Sega Dreamcast Katana into a 3D printed sled. I’ve just noticed now that there are plenty of caddies that help them fit into the space of a 3.5” hard drive. If I did it all again, I’d do it slightly... Continue reading

Burrrp! Tillie! Is that the latest sound we’re adding to the conure vocabulary? Apparently the little green noise-making department has been hard at work again, and the result deserves a video of its own. We’ve heard plenty of chirps and assorted parrot commentary over the past year, but this one... Continue reading

For the longest time I’ve had this Kasumi Blue Xbox from a fellow game enthusiast from way down Melbourne way. And for the longest time the darned jewel has been crooked. I got around to straightening it up. I ended up opting for some fishing wire as my floss is... Continue reading

Ah yes, the ways of the 16-bit chip. Here we dump a Mega-CD BIOS several times to make sure we’re getting consistent reads. It’s also a good idea to reseat the chip between dumps, giving the socket contacts another chance to betray you if something isn’t making a clean connection.... Continue reading
