Circuit Bending a Sega Mega Drive 2

Here’s a great little infographic on how to circuit bend your Mega Drive (Model 2) or Genesis (Model 2) courtesy of Gijs from gieskes.nl. You sure can get some exciting graphics, maybe I should do another video – if only it also broke the audio… actually to be honest I did mess around with the address / data lines on the audio chips on a Mega Drive (Model 1) but it froze every so often.

Edit: Looks like gieskes.nl didn’t read their datasheet for the VRAM… from Console5 we can see that there are two sets of VCC and VSS. Don’t mess with them or something will fry.
