The Nintendo Super System is related to SNES hardware but is not the same retail console, so I would treat these failure examples as useful diagnostic clues rather than a definitive list of what causes every garbled SNES or Super Famicom display.

Actually, this might be useful in working out some circuit bending for the SNES… stay tuned! 😉
