That’s right, I’m still alive! So never fear, McRetro is here! Although not doing too much here today, just rambling on and getting closer to my weight goal for the moment. I’m down to around 90.9 kg from roughly 114 kg, and I’m hoping to reach 80 kg before properly getting back into making videos. It’s taking quite a bit of my attention at the moment.
The Dreamcast development box is still sitting there waiting for me, and the Sega TeraDrive power supply is still on the bench. I’ve got some footage I could upload, but between those projects, looking for work and preparing for university in 2017, there’s rather a lot to get through. I do still see your comments, even when I don’t manage to reply to them all!
McRetro.net has moved homes again, although the internet at its new location has gone down. That’s one of the joys of running your own website when you aren’t actually there to sort it out. I’m not particularly keen on paying for hosting when a Raspberry Pi can do the job, but occasionally the internet has other ideas.
Would you look at this too? I managed to get ddclient on Raspbian to run as a daemon… how did I forget to do that? Added a daily cron run as a failsafe too. That’s just what happens when you rebuild a server I suppose :D
I’ll keep you posted as things move along. There are plenty of videos and bits of hardware I’d like to get back to, even if everything is taking longer than I hoped. The McRetro hasn’t disappeared just yet!
