Initial Tests for a McRetroNet IRC Server

Well, for the most part it seemed to work for a while and I was able to join in on my conversation with myself a few times. IRC might be a good way of having an instant chat that is completely controlled by the rock solid Raspberry Pi. So far I’ve meddled with InspIRCd for the actual server and Anope and Atheme for the services (bot control and whatnot… ChanServ, NickServ, etc) and I got stuck on the second part. Still, progress is progress. I’m sure I’ll have it working before the month is out. There will be a web based version which will sit here for those less inclined to crack open their mIRCs, Textuals, Konversations and heck even Irssis! 🙂
