Time to replace the electrolytic capacitors on one of the WDL-330P hard drives from the TeraDrive.

This particular drive was already the worst of the group and had bad blocks.

The recap is maintenance and an attempt to improve the electronics.

It does not establish that the bad sectors were caused by the capacitors.

I also came dangerously close to making the PCB situation worse during the repair, but nearby vias gave me somewhere to recover the damaged connection.

Not my best repair job ever…!

I came back to these same WDL-330P drives in 2019, looked in horror at some of my earlier work and recapped them properly again.

So consider this the first pass, not the final state of the drives.
