Sega TeraDrive – Retrofitting a Mean Well PT-65B PSU

td_header

Lately I’ve noticed folk have been replacing their TeraDrive power supplies either due to failure or needing 220v power in place of a big transformer sitting on their desk, I’m the latter. In the following photos we have the TeraDrive being retrofitted with a Mean Well PT-65B open frame PSU.

It’s actually quite a good fit inside the existing power supply as you can see. The PT-65B also has a negative rail if you wanted to wire up your ISA slots – TeraDrives don’t have any negative rails. Anyway, enjoy the photos – courtesy of DeChief on Assembler Games.
