The 27C1024 is a 1 Mbit EPROM organised as 64K x 16: 1,048,576 bits, or 131,072 bytes (128 KiB). Pretty roomy for a BIOS of the early 1990s!

In other news, I am working on whether to terminate my study at university, I’ve been deferred for two years so far. If it goes any further I’ll lose the course. I best transfer to a local university that isn’t two major cities away!
