There’s nothing I enjoy more than finding a computer on the side of the road.

So what happens when I find two computers on the side of the road?

Naturally, I hook both of them up to see whether they work.

Turns out they mostly do!

They need some older hard drives and some mainboard capacitor attention, but they’re remarkably alive for roadside computers.

The timing was also useful because I was looking for an AT or ATX power supply for the Sega TeraDrive experiments.

Apparently I needed 5 A on the 12 V rail.

Or was it the 5 V rail…

Yeah, clearly I hadn’t confirmed that part yet. :P

So don’t take that as a TeraDrive power specification. That’s another video for the near future.
