Above is an attempt to fix up the first Game Gear, that I might have mangled slightly while trying to repair. Now I have learned that slow and steady wins the race. I’ve fixed it up darned well considering the number of issues it had/has. I still have to fix the battery bay issue with the missing terminals and the bad connection to DC power. Maybe I’ll hardwire it into a power adapter? Seems a waste of an LED mode though.
