Cloning CompactFlash Cards with HDD Raw Copy Tool

While dealing with XTIDE and CompactFlash (CF) cards I have been using HDD Raw Copy Tool in Windows XP. While I could have done this with dd in linux or Mac OS, I chose Windows XP in a virtual machine. Watch the animated gif above to see the steps involved. You get five seconds per frame, use them wisely.

Maybe I just like that Prairie Wind background tile. Either way, it doesn’t matter too much as long as the data is duplicated. This gives me a working backup and I can then break one of the configs pretty bad and just restore if need be. Dammit, that is a nice tile. 🙃
