Here we check the tape decks on Unit-01 and Unit-02. Sadly, Unit-02 is pretty bent upon closer inspection, and the motor PCB is snapped and damaged. The good news is, I have a solution! Stay tuned for more on this as it unfolds day by day, month by month!

Later in September, the initial comparison with an Aiwa CSD-EX80 looked promising as a donor for bits and pieces from the two CSD-GM1s.
