This is the original 8086-based IBM PS/2 Model 30 rather than the later Model 30 286. It runs an 8 MHz Intel 8086 with 640 KB of RAM and uses 8-bit ISA expansion. Depending on the Model 30 configuration, IBM sold these with one or two 720 KB floppy drives or a 20 MB hard drive.

One thing that particularly surprised me was the original lithium battery. After more than 25 years it still measured around 3 V. Incredible, although an unloaded voltage reading by itself does not tell me how much useful capacity the battery still has.
