Good to see that the IBM did not reject the replacement drive which indicates it is a compatible replacement. Unfortunate that the $50 shipping did not pay off for the $14 faulty drive. Not that surprising given the age of the hardware… hit and a miss. Maybe next time I’ll have more luck! 🙂
