This one is a bit of an oddball. I had a chicken-and-egg situation: I needed the Linksys PAP2T reset but had no handset. Well, until I realised my modem could stand in for one by sending the dialling tones. We use the recently tested Avtek MegaPlus V.32bis Modem (Model CD950), with some trial-and-error pauses (commas), to time the reset sequence right.

The next step of course is to use the PAP2T as a VoIP phone exchange emulator. At least at a local level anyway. Interesting times ahead, for me anyway. Haha! 🙃
