PSIO Multi-Disc Formatting (MULTIDISC.LST)

Carriage returns (CR) and line feeds (LF). CR LF, or CRLF. You’ll want to make sure you get the formatting right or PSIO will get angry at you by wrapping all the discs onto one line – a recipe for disaster on my Mac! If I was in Windows, not so much of an issue.

I tried using BBEdit to make it zap into the correct format like Notepad++ with no success. The path of least resistance? Using virtualisation on my shiny new M1 Mac with an Arm-based Windows 10 into a Technology Preview of Parallels 16. Windows 10 (Arm) has emulation of x86 and x64 (akin to Rosetta on Mac). Somehow it all came together and worked properly – very unexpected. Just make sure you end up with what is pictured above when creating discs and you’ll be ready to game-on!
