We’ve got ourselves a striped talking catfish (Platydoras armatulus)! Yes, a talking catfish. What more could you possibly want from a fish? Unfortunately, these little guys weren’t particularly conversational. Most of the time they were hiding away, only making an appearance when sinking pellets were on the menu.

Even then, getting something to eat was another matter entirely! The pellets had to survive Slinky, the driftwood catfish and Todd the Cod (who isn’t actually a cod!) before the striped catfish could get a look in. Quite a bit of competition just for some dinner. Fish Tank World certainly wasn’t short of hungry mouths!
