I had been using roughly 500 g to 1 kg per week as my own target rate.

In reality, over roughly the previous six months, I was averaging around 1.13 kg per week.

The sharp little movement around the blood donation is interesting, but I should not have described the graph as directly showing plasma disappearing and being rebuilt.

Body weight can move around over short periods because of fluid balance, food, glycogen and plenty of other things. The scale does not tell me which of those caused a particular little bump.

So why not average everything since my first recorded weigh-in in late October 2008?

That gives around 0.017948718 kg per week.

All that weight gain in between?

Clearly just part of the master plan to lose weight at a slower average rate.

0.02 kg is about four servings of Vegemite per week in weight.

Maybe I’m using the wrong sort of average.

Oh, that’s right. I purged all that information from my mind when the university bridging course ended six months ago.

Whoops!

Did I mention I’m at 81.2 kg?

200 g outside the BMI category I was aiming for.

Muahahaha! :D

This is a record of what I was doing in 2016, not a target rate for somebody else’s weight loss.
