Recently some friends got their FTTN NBN put in… it’s fast. In fact this website is hosted there – might explain the downtime… 😉 Take a look at the above photo, that’s what FTTN is. Existing copper wire runs it from the node to your home. Look at the condition of it. It’s hard to believe it’s only 100-odd years old, isn’t it? I hope we get a government in that can fix this mess up. The copper should have been done away with completely.
