A friend loaned me some 4GB MicroDrives to try with the LC 475… It hasn’t worked too well so far… If I had a USB reader of sorts I might have made progress. I’ll have to track one down and retest. Something about a hidden partition.
Recent testing with a USB enclosure confirms there is a ~39MB partition at the beginning of the drive which likely throws Mac OS off. After a quick format with the HP USB Formatter Tool, we should be right to go. I have also found a Seagate MicroDrive to test with. We’ll be back with part two in a few weeks.
