Got this PPC640D from eBay and found that it is quite a nice unit. For its age, it sure is holding up well. The PPC640 family is built around an 8MHz 8086-2 with 640KB of system RAM. Amstrad’s technical documentation describes a 16-bit onboard memory bus, an 8-bit peripheral and expansion bus, and optional support for an 8087-2 numeric coprocessor. I’m sure I will look into it more as time goes by (when I find the time!) Just so I remember these are the jumper settings.
