Well, the me of the past did not do such a wonderful job of removing the Aiwa BIOS chip.

The MPR-15768-T ROM had already been removed so I could preserve its contents, but the PCB suffered in the process.

If only I had owned the Hakko 808 back then.

The good news is:

we can rebuild him.

We have the technology!

The plan now is to fit a socket and repair the damaged connections so I can swap and test BIOS devices without repeatedly desoldering the board.
