This was quick supporting footage that got cut from the larger SNES cartridge project.

Here we run Super Bomberman 2 from a donor cartridge using a 27C801 EPROM.

I cannot remember whether this particular donor was NHL 96 or World Cup Striker.

They looked the same on the bench and I apparently did not label the thing.

Very helpful, past me.

The useful point is the programming technology.

A 27C801 is a UV-erasable EPROM, whereas the later AM29F032B setup uses electrically erasable flash memory and provides substantially more storage.

This little cartridge therefore represents the earlier stage of the donor-cart experiments before I moved to the larger TSOP40 devices.
