You might all remember this review from early March.

Not the most glowing review, because my Dimplex DC10RC was either faulty or, in my original highly scientific terminology, a complete hunk of junk.

Let me show you the MEGA edition, the Dimplex DC15RCBW Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner.

In my actual rooms, the difference was dramatic.

This unit could cool a room roughly twice the size of the one where my DC10RC had struggled.

That definitely made me more suspicious that something had been wrong with my particular DC10RC, although two units in two rooms is hardly a laboratory test of the entire product range.

The new room created a different problem: nowhere sensible to run the drainage pipe during heating operation.

So I picked up a Dyson AM09 for winter heating instead.

Off to storage you go, dear DC15RCBW, until warmer weather returns.
