Quick Mix Chocolate Cake
CAKE BASE
• 185 g butter
• 185 g castor sugar
• 155 g self-raising flour
• 85 g cocoa
• 3 eggs
• 125 mL milk
BASE METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat well. Bake at 190-200°C for 30 minutes.
FUDGE FROSTING
• 275 g icing sugar
• 60 g dark cooking chocolate
• 15 g butter
• 40 mL milk
FUDGE METHOD
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water, stir in sifted icing sugar and enough milk to give a thick spreading consistency. Spread over cake base.
