Not sure why my GQ-4X is reporting configuration failure when programming PIC12F629s for PS1 modchips, but I programmed one with a little LED-blinking test without issues. That shows this test worked; it doesn’t establish why the modchip programming failed.

The PIC12F629 is Flash-based and reprogrammable, which is handy for mistakes. Here’s the result, with some 90s nostalgia and lunch thrown in.
